The new Swiss Bike Park in Oberried near Bern offers optimal conditions for honing your riding skills - for every level up to the pros.
This course is aimed at good bikers who can master trails of S2 level. We focus on learning 2 core techniques for riding high alpine trails:
1. front pivoting in tight switchbacks
2. line choice and skills for tough rockgardens
Both can be learned in the Swiss Bike Park with much less risk than in real terrain because in the mountains especially trails with hairpin bends are often very exposed. In the Bike Park, however, the corresponding practice trails are designed in such a way that you are allowed to make mistakes without serious consequences.
Trail Therapy guide Mischa knows the possibilities of the park very well because he supported the park in the creation of the use concept for riding skill courses. For warm-up and between practice sessions, he will also show you the other zones of the park and their possibilities so that you can come back and practice there on your own.
The course is also a perfect preparation for the Trail Therapy tour on the next day (October 10th) in Grächen, where the learned skills can be put into practice in the field and further trained under supervision.
